Our project aims to create learning resources which can be used to challenge the negative stereotypes which our students encounter on a daily basis.

 

There are resources challenging prejudices about stereotypes available, but our project aims to create teaching aids which not only confront these biases but attempt to address them through developing the students' key competencies and thus self esteem.

 

Teachers and students in this partnership are aiming to create a broad range of teaching resources tackling stereotypes (video, web site, text and ICT based) which will demand our students apply broad based skills and learning opportunities. These are aimed at consolidating and extending creativity, independence, digital competences, communication skills and collaborative approaches to problem solving.
